Our Golden Olive Eleni® organic extra virgin olive oil is made from the Koroneiki olive, a very small olive harvested in the Peloponnese region of Greece. The olives are picked during the early harvest while they are green, giving the olive oil extra freshness and bite. Great for cooking, baking and for making salves, extracts and tinctures. Golden Olive Eleni® is an unfiltered olive oil, cold and first-pressed, with an acidity of less than 0.2%, making it a true extra virgin olive oil. (Extra virgin olive oils have an acidity rating of 0.8% or less, determined by a chemical lab analysis; see FAQ for more details.)

Our olive oil is award-winning, placing silver, bronze and gold respectively in 2003, 2004 and 2005 at the Los Angeles County Fair Olive Oils of the World competition in the Greek mono-cultivar category. We were also the official olive oil sponsor of the Canadian team at the prelims in Vancouver and the Bocuse d’Or culinary competition in Lyon, France during the 2002-2003 season.
